Palmer's Cocoa Butter Skin Therapy Oil FACE ~ Review

The Palmer's Skin Therapy Oil FACE with vitamin E comes in a plain brown bottle with a eye dropper applicator cap. The reason it's in a brown tinted bottle is because it contains retinol which will break down when exposed to sunlight. It also contains 10 Pure Oils, Cocoa Butter, Vitamin C & Cetesomate-E Complex.

The oils help smooth fine lines & wrinkles while they moisturize your skin. The vitamin C & retinol help to improve and brighten tone & texture. The Cetesomate Complex helps deliver all of the essential vitamins & nutrients directly into the epidermal layer of the skin.

It's light weight & non greasy. It absorbs very quickly into your skin giving you a younger looking, firmer appearance. On top of all that, it's Hypoallergenic, Paraben-Free, Phthalate-Free & Dermatologist Tested.

I have to comment on the fragrance. It's a Rosehip scent and quite honestly it reminds me of when I was a little girl playing in my Grandpa's rose garden. It's one of my favourite scents.

I am not a fan of the eye dropper applicator.
It does not hold the formula securely so if you aren't careful, it will drip all over the place. It only takes a couple of wasted drips before you smarten up & keep it positioned over the bottle or your hand. You only need a few drops for your skin which is wonderful. A little really does go a long way.

I didn't grow up knowing about moisturizing skin. My mom only ever washed her face with soap & water, she never used lotion of any kind, so this is new to me.  About a year ago, before my 39th birthday, I was told my skin was dry & that I needed to moisturize more. I started using hand cream thinking that would be enough. Hey it was more than I ever used before, so it had to be good.

I didn't notice any sort of improvement. I have been lucky by rarely having acne so I figured my skin was fine, even though I had more wrinkles & fine lines than other women my age have. That's why when I was offered the chance to do a review on the Palmer's Cocoa Butter Skin Therapy Oil FACE, I was excited & eager to try it.

It's only been 2 weeks, but I can already see a difference.  My skin is softer & silkier & yes, even brighter looking. It's not oily looking by any means, which was a fear of mine considering that it's an oil. It also helps, I think, because I massage my face after applying it.  I put it on at night time and in the morning wash my face and go about my day.

I know this will be a constant staple on my dresser for the rest of my life. If you are looking for a new product to try, I strongly recommend you giving Palmer's Cocoa Butter Skin Therapy Oil FACE a try before you buy anything else.
